The crematoria which we most often use are Three Counties Crematorium, near Braintree, and Chelmsford Crematorium. However, we do occasionally get asked to use other crematoria, and that’s perfectly fine if you have another preference. We have a selection of funeral packages from which you can choose, according to your budget. We provide funerals for a wide range of faiths or no faith at all, and we are well used to working with and honouring different cultures and traditions. Please ask your funeral arranger if you have any specific or unusual requirements; we will always do our very best to accommodate them. If you have never arranged a funeral before and need our guidance, your funeral arranger will be able to advise you. We do sell pre-paid funeral plans for burials or cremations, whichever suits you best. These are a very good idea as they fix the funeral that you will need at some point in the future at today’s prices. The plan will cover all of the funeral director’s costs and a contribution towards third party fees which we pay on your behalf, but which we cannot fix. This means that when the funeral is needed, there will usually only be a small remaining charge to find from your estate. As of 29th July 2022, pre-paid funeral plans are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and can only be provided by companies who have passed a rigorous vetting procedure. Our funeral plan partner is Golden Charter.
