Welcome to Hunnaball of Witham

Hunnaball of Witham has been providing funeral services for the people of Witham and its surrounding villages for well over a decade, helping families and friends to organise fitting tributes to their loved ones with care and sensitivity.

In 2020, we moved premises to a new location in Newland Street, still in the heart of the town. Our Witham branch is fully accessible for visitors with disabilities, and includes a friendly reception area, where you will first meet our team, as well as comfortable arranging rooms, where we can guide you through all the details involved in planning a funeral. At Witham we also have a newly dedicated Chapel of Rest, and a state-of-the-art mortuary. We are also pleased to be able to offer private parking, making it easier for clients and families to visit the branch and make arrangements

Our team have won a well-deserved reputation for the expertise with which they assist bereaved families, helping them through a distressing and difficult time. They are very well used to working alongside medical professionals, legal advisors and celebrants, helping to smooth the way to creating a funeral that reflects and commemorates each family’s loved one with dignity and respect.

We understand that losing a loved one is always a worrying and painful experience, so we make sure that we always have someone available to help, no matter when you may need us. We have an experienced team of funeral directors available at all times, and our first responders are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We do our utmost to ensure that you will always be able to speak to someone who can advise and guide you at this critical time.

A funeral is a traditional rite of passage, and is part of the grieving process. A meaningful funeral service helps people to cope with loss, to comfort each other, and to celebrate a life. The ceremony can take many forms, and can be religious or non-religious. What is important is that it is the right choice for the person who has died, and for their family and friends.
