Most of our arrangers are also female, but if you want to deal with a male arranger, please let us know. We’re here to help in any way we can. You can choose whether you deal with a male or female funeral director, because we understand that in some cultures a male is expected. For many people, the feminine touch of a lady funeral director helps to make the day less stressful.
- Do you provide funerals for babies and children?
Over the years, we have conducted many funerals for babies and children, and it has been our privilege to do so. We see them as a sacred trust and it has become an area of expertise for our teams throughout Suffolk and Essex. We understand that they are often the most painful funerals to arrange and we support the family at every stage, ensuring they have as much choice as possible.
- Why are your hearses and fleet silver?
Our silver fleet was the first of its kind in the region and we believe it introduces a less sombre feel to the funeral cortege. Many of our clients have commented that they found it uplifting and comforting, but if a black hearse and limousines are required we can certainly accommodate you. We also offer lots of other alternative hearses, like a horse drawn carriage, motor cycle and sidecar, flat bed lorry, or other more unusual choices. We have even conducted a funeral with the vehicle from Ghostbusters as the hearse. Simply talk it over with your funeral arranger.
