Name a Star is an annual event, hosted in every local branch of the Hunnaball Family Funeral Group, which also includes Geo Paskell of Manningtree, JK May of West Mersea and Janet C Davies of Braintree and Kelvedon. Everyone is invited to visit their local branch and to hang a special star on the Christmas tree, dedicated to the memory of someone you love and miss, in the run up to Christmas.
It doesn’t matter whether we were your funeral director, we simply want offer everyone an opportunity to remember the people they miss most at a time of the year when their absence is often most noticeable.
No appointment is necessary, simply drop in during office hours to your local branch and one of our lovely team will be very pleased to help you. If you can’t make it in person, then simply call the branch and ask one of the team to dedicate and hang a star on your behalf. Then, in every Hunnaball Family Funeral Group branch in Essex and Suffolk, prior to Christmas, a simple ceremony will take place involving local dignitaries and clergy. They will dedicate the tree and its stars to the memory of those remembered, and pray for comfort for the ones who miss them.
