Can you arrange to bury or scatter ashes?

You have several options for the eventual disposal of cremated remains, or ashes as they are usually known. They can be scattered or interred, kept at home in an urn, or small amounts can be used to make jewellery or other keepsakes. Some people like to scatter ashes at a place that has been special to the deceased, and we are happy to give advice on the legality of that, and to make arrangements if permissions are needed. We can arrange for an interment and you can attend that ceremony or not, as you prefer. We can also arrange for the crematorium staff to scatter ashes on your behalf. There is more information on our ashes, urns and keepsakes page.
