Light A Candle Ipswich - Saturday 12th November

Hunnaball of Ipswich hosted their annual ‘Light a Candle’ service of remembrance on Saturday 12th November at St Mary’s Church, Whitton for the second year running.

We were delighted to welcome back Holmwood House Preparatory School Chamber Choir, who in their final year, sang beautifully. The service was led by the Reverend Andrew Dotchin.

Light A Candle Colchester - Saturday 19th November

On Saturday 19th November Colchester, Hunnaball of Colchester hosted their annual ‘Light a Candle Service’ of remembrance at St James the Great Church, East Hill.

We were delighted to welcome 2nd Lieutenant, James Ramsey from the Parachute Regiment. Proceeds from the collection will be donated to the worthy ‘Afghan Project’ of which Lieutenant Ramsey represented. The service was led by the Reverend Peter Walker

From both events those attended left with a feeling of hope, drawing strength from others in the congregation, who like them, had suffered the pain of bereavement.
